We measure the room, confirm the flue path and recommend the right output — usually 8–14 kW for an open-plan Cape home.

Typically one day for a freestanding unit, two to three for a built-in insert with brickwork.

How much does fireplace installation cost in South Africa?+
Installation of a freestanding closed combustion fireplace typically runs R6,500–R12,000 excl. VAT including a standard flue kit, depending on roof type and flue height. Built-in insert installations with brickwork and a new chase generally run R12,000–R25,000 excl. VAT. We quote per site after a free assessment.
Are you certified fireplace installers?+
Yes. Our fireplace crews install to SANS 10400 and SANS 827, and our gas technicians are registered to issue a gas Certificate of Conformity (CoC) — the document your insurer and municipality require.
Do you install gas fireplaces near me?+
We install gas fireplaces throughout Cape Town, the Northern Suburbs, Helderberg, Cape Winelands, Overberg, West Coast, Breede Valley and Langeberg. Our Bellville showroom at 189 Durban Road is the base for all installation crews.
Can you install a fireplace in a house with no chimney?+
Yes — most modern installations use a twin-wall insulated stainless flue routed through the ceiling and roof, so no masonry chimney is needed. We design the route on the site visit.
How long does a fireplace installation take?+
A freestanding closed combustion unit is usually completed in a single day. Built-in inserts that need a chase, lintel or new hearth take two to three days including brickwork and finishing.
