Braai Installation

Built-in braai & canopy installation

A braai only draws properly when the canopy, flue and firebox are matched. We supply and install steel and built-in braais, canopies and extractors across the Western Cape — including marine-grade 304 stainless for coastal homes in Hermanus, Langebaan and the Atlantic Seaboard.

FAQ

Common questions

How much does built-in braai installation cost?+

Fitment of a supplied built-in braai with canopy and flue typically runs R5,500–R14,000 excl. VAT depending on flue height, roof penetration and whether brickwork is needed. We quote after a site measure.

Why does my braai smoke into the room?+

Nearly always an undersized canopy, too little flue height, or a missing cowl. We assess the existing setup and correct the draw rather than just replacing the unit.

Do you install braais at coastal homes?+

Yes — and for anything within a few kilometres of the sea we specify 304 marine-grade stainless steel to prevent salt corrosion.
