Braai Canopies & Extractor Fans in Cape Town

A canopy sits above the braai and funnels smoke into the flue, so it does not drift into your patio, kitchen or neighbour's garden. Adding an extractor fan pulls smoke out actively — essential in enclosed entertainment areas or where the flue run is long or has bends.

Size the canopy slightly wider than the braai on each side and mount it at the manufacturer's recommended height. Match the canopy outlet to the flue diameter.
