Built-In Spit Braais in Cape Town

A spit braai adds a rotating spit to a built-in braai, so you can slow-roast a leg of lamb, pork belly or a whole chicken over the coals while still grilling on the grid. It is a favourite for big family gatherings.

Check the spit length and motor, the braai width and the distance between the spit and the fire. A 1200 mm unit gives enough room for a decent roast and a full grid. Most of our spit braais include a 2.4 m flue kit.

Before ordering, measure the opening and check the height of the roof above the braai, because the flue must clear it. Send us photos of the position and where the nearest outdoor plug is. We then confirm extra flue lengths, any electrical work and the installation price, so you know the full cost before you pay.
