A patio braai stands on its own cabinet or pedestal, so you get a full-size braai without building a brick surround. It is ideal for rented homes, new patios and anyone who wants to move the braai later.

Check the grid size, cabinet storage, side fire baskets and wheels. Place the braai on a level, non-combustible surface, away from walls, timber and low roofs, with room for the smoke to clear. Under a roof, a flue or canopy may still be needed.

Most patio braais are delivered and set up rather than installed, and we can add a flue or canopy where needed. We install within 200 km of Cape Town — the City, Northern and Southern Suburbs, the Cape Winelands, Overberg and West Coast — and courier anywhere in South Africa.

Before ordering, measure the space, check the roof height above the braai position and look at how you will get the unit through gates and doors — some cabinets are large. Send us photos of the patio and we will confirm whether a flue or canopy is needed and give you a delivery date. Many customers pair a patio braai with a canopy or extractor fan for covered areas, and we can quote both together so they match in size and finish.
