FAQ
Common questions
How much does aircon installation cost in Cape Town?+
A standard wall split installation starts at R5 000 incl VAT. That covers a back-to-back install with a short pipe run and an existing power point nearby. Long pipe runs, roof-space routing, brackets on high walls or new electrical circuits are quoted on top after the site visit.
What size air conditioner do I need?+
As a rule of thumb, allow about 1 kW of cooling per 10 m² in a well-shaded room, and more for west-facing or heavily glazed spaces. We calculate it properly on the site visit rather than working off floor area alone.
How long does an air conditioning installation take?+
A single wall split is usually installed in half a day. Multi-split and VRF systems take one to several days depending on the pipe routing and electrical work.
Do you service air conditioners you did not install?+
Yes. We service, clean and re-gas all major residential brands across Cape Town and the Western Cape.
Which areas do you install air conditioning in?+
Cape Town and the wider Western Cape, including Bellville, Durbanville, Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Paarl, Worcester, Hermanus, Robertson and Langebaan.
