How often should a fireplace flue be swept?+
Once a year for a fireplace used through winter, and twice a year if you burn daily or use unseasoned wood. Gas units should be serviced annually for burner cleanliness and a leak test.
Do you service fireplaces you didn't install?+
Yes. We service all major closed combustion, wood and gas brands — including Hydrofire, Jetmaster, SAfire, Magma, Invicta and MCZ — regardless of who supplied them.
Will sweeping make a mess in my house?+
No. We seal the appliance opening and extract with a HEPA vacuum while brushing, so soot goes into the machine rather than onto your floors.
When is the best time to book?+
Book in late summer or early autumn (February to April). Winter slots fill quickly once the cold sets in.
